What is The Beauty of Melanin ?
The beauty of melanin (BOM), a project to show the natural beauty of the black woman , not only her physical but also her inside beauty including her mind, her personality, her strength, her intelligence, her power, her heart and more.
For decades, the beauty of the black woman has rarely been pushed forward, whether in the media , advertising, daily life, the black woman has often been degraded compared to other cultures. She is often the subject of mockery for her features, her hair, her personality and more. Although there have been some changes , however in many countries, the black woman is still not yet fully promoted.
So the beauty of melanin project is to highlight the black woman in all her splendor. To show how strong and powerful woman she is . It is to break all these stereotypes and these prejudices created towards black skin, to show that being black is a blessing. A project to embrace the black woman and highlight the “black girl magic”
